My Music

Music has always played a major role in my life. I have a great appreciation for many styles of music, I've been a performing musician for over 25 years, and my wife & I met through playing in local bands.

Everyday music teaches me something about life, and life teaches me something about music.

I currently play with Raising Scarlet: A Rockabilly & Swingin' Blues band that performs modern interpretations of great roots rock, blues, and jazz, along with our own original music composed in that style.

My wife & I released a full length CD of original songs in 2007 titled "Feel No Guilt" under the band name Rude Toys. That CD is available through many online sources - including iTunes - or directly from us at any of our live shows.

Starting in 2010 I had the pleasure of taking guitar lessons form the great Bobby Keyes. In a short time he's shared many invaluable insights with me that have helped broaden my approach to playing the guitar, and hearing music. Bobby is an outstanding guitarist, songwriter, and music producer with a unique and indescribable style. I highly recommend seeing him perform live any chance you get.
